Edmonds Murder Suspect Released!

'"... we did not object to the release of the suspect,” Adam Cornell, Prosecutor for Snohomish County, told the Lynnwood Times.'

The suspect admitted to being involved in the murder of 64-year-old Nagendiram Kandasamy, while on active DOC supervision (click >> HERE << to read the entire article). The suspect was also involved in a standoff with police. After being recently arrested, the Snohomish County Prosecutor did not object to her being released from custody despite the evidence. A Prosecutor who will not object to the release of this type of suspect is not trying hard enough to protect the people of our county … or is not trying at all.

As your Prosecutor I will argue for the highest possible bail, or no bail, while suspects await trial. I will end the current “catch and release” policies of the prosecutor’s office and fast-track eligible cases rather than letting them languish until the statute of limitations approaches. I will ask for maximum sentences upon conviction, because let’s face it: criminals no longer fear the justice system.

I think it is time for Mr. Cummings, my opponent, who seems to be silent on every issue concerning the safety of Snohomish County citizen, to weigh in on the state of criminal justice in our county, and whether he plans on maintaining the status quo of the current policies.

I believe you care about the safety of our community, as I do. Please comment below, share this post, and ... thank you for your vote.
