Prosecutor Says, "Get Used to No Jail Time"

"A top King County prosecutor told a group of South Sound law enforcement officials that they better “get used to” no jail time for juvenile criminals responsible for the alarming rise of violence in the region. He even joked about their concern, using a popular meme that some on the call found offensive.

Ben Carr is the senior deputy prosecuting attorney for King County. He offered a PowerPoint presentation on how the county treats juvenile offenders driving much of the crime. The meeting was called after mayors criticized the prosecutor’s office for going too easy on criminals, demanding answers. It did not go well." To read the whole story, click >> HERE<<

If I am elected this attitude will NOT be found in the Snohomish County Prosecutor's Office.

There are situations where diversion and/or rehabilitation is the proper path but there are absolutely situations where victims need to be protected and criminal behavior demands accountability and incarceration.

It is ironic that some of the same officials who decry "gun violence" are the same ones going out of their way not to prosecute "gun violence." Our current Snohomish County Prosecutor appears to possess a similar attitude.

It is time for a change ... Snohomish County residents and visitors deserve a safer future; together, and with my help, we can achieve exactly that. Thank you for your vote.
